Education
Harvard University (edX)
I hold a certificate in 18th-Century Opera from Harvard (edX), which enriches my teaching with a deep foundational knowledge of classical music history, style, and performance tradition. This background allows me to give students a well-rounded music education that connects vocal and instrumental technique directly to the rich historical context behind the repertoire.
Mississippi State University
With a Master’s Certificate in Special Education from Mississippi State and endorsements in English and Music, I bring a personalized approach to musical instruction. I am equipped to support students of all learning backgrounds, helping them build confidence and clear communication through their studies.
Jackson State University
I earned my Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor's in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Broadcast Production from Jackson State University. This blend of pedagogical training and modern media expertise allows me to deliver engaging, clear, and well-structured instruction across both traditional and digital formats.
Hinds Community College
I earned my Associate's degree in Music Education with a minor in Computer Science, actively contributing as a student arranger, assistant, and director. Alongside my technical and musical roles, I developed strong leadership skills serving as Miss MENC (Music Educators National Conference now know as NAfME) and Student Body President.
