Mrs. Bennett is a National Board Certified Teacher and the first female staff to ever co-lead the Marching 100 at St. Augustine High School in New Orleans as assistant band director, arranger, and assistant director of woodwinds. She is also an Extra Yard for Teachers recipient and nominee for the Grammy Music Educator, LifeChanger of the Year, and America's Favorite Teacher award.

She enjoys playing music, writing, researching,  and helping others.

Ms. Bennett graduated high school at 14 years old and is a sophomore student at Nunez Community College. Upon graduating, she plans to attend the University of New Orleans, Louisiana State University, or Xavier University. After completing her undergraduate studies in Psychology, her goal is to later attend Harvard University.
